At Shpresa Programme, we are proud to celebrate two important achievements that recognise the dedication, resilience, and impact of our organisation and leadership within the community.<\/p>

Shpresa Programme Receives the \u201cStronger and United Together\u201d Award<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

On 4 March 2026, Shpresa Programme was honoured to receive the \u201cStronger and United Together\u201d Award from Newham Council during a special ceremony held at Stratford Town Hall.<\/p>

This award recognises organisations that make an outstanding contribution to community cohesion, inclusion, and support for residents facing challenges and inequalities.<\/p>

Receiving this recognition is especially meaningful at a time when many of the asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants we work with continue to experience hardship, uncertainty, discrimination, and isolation. Through our programmes and services, we strive every day to create safe spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and empowered.<\/p>

The award reflects the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, partners, and community members who work tirelessly to strengthen connections, promote wellbeing, and ensure that vulnerable individuals are not left behind.<\/p>

Most importantly, it highlights the power of unity and the importance of communities coming together with compassion, understanding, and hope.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Flutura Shega Nominated for the \u201cTrue Honour Award\u201d<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are also incredibly proud that Flutura Shega was nominated for a \u201cTrue Honour Award\u201d by IKWRO \u2013 Women\u2019s Rights Organisation.<\/p>

This nomination is a powerful recognition of Flutura\u2019s longstanding commitment to advocating for the rights of women, migrants, refugees, and survivors of abuse and exploitation.<\/p>

For many years, Flutura has worked tirelessly to support some of the most vulnerable members of society, helping women and families overcome barriers including poverty, social exclusion, domestic abuse, trafficking, mental health challenges, and immigration difficulties.<\/p>

Under her leadership, Shpresa Programme has become a trusted source of support, empowerment, and hope for thousands of people across the Albanian-speaking community and beyond.<\/p>

Being recognised by IKWRO is a significant achievement and reflects the importance of standing up for dignity, equality, and human rights for all women and girls.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
