\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLondon Youth, London Wildlife Trust, John Muir Trust\u00a0 and Headliners UK, Shpresa Programme created the Guardians of the Environment Group as part of the Keep it Wild! project.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEvery Saturday afternoon, children from the Albanian speaking community join with others to learn about nature, wildlife and conservation. Group members (or Guardians of the Environment as they are better known) join in a host of interactive sessions to create their own projects to save nature, raise awareness of the importance of conservation, and make safer outside spaces for young people to enjoy.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHere\u2019s what a few of our new Guardians of the Environment have to say:\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\"The aim of the project is to encourage young people who may not usually engage with natural spaces to develop their understanding, skills and passion to drive social and environmental change in London. Young people aged 11-25 will go through progressive stages, receive training and the John Muir Award whilst discovering the importance of protecting urban wildlife in a fun and interactive way. This will help the group to create a positive change in the form of a social media campaign or a digital project (like creating a video or an interview etc.), or just in general by helping others understand the value and appreciate nature. Improving their wellbeing and making connections in outdoor space and nature.\"<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
