The power to prosper meet up held a meeting discussing critical issues the system faces and the need for change. Power to prosper is a specific programme focused on economic empowerment, particularly within marginalized communities, or a more general concept of achieving financial and overall well-being.
Prosperity is more than money. It’s about thriving—not just surviving—in every area of life. It’s having the resources, mindset, and vision to grow, contribute, and enjoy the journey.
In this meeting there were some key topics that the people raised:
- Building power for systemic change through community organising and community wealth building
- Saving and growing Black and racially minortised-led community assets
- Mobilising our hubs and campaigns nationally
- Shifting narratives: from financial inclusion to economic justice
- Growing the Power to Prosper coalition
These topics were met with applause and the hunger for change. Everyone in the room felt the energy that was shared. Empowering meetings are sacred, rare, real.
We’re used to meetings being mundane
updates, checklists, maybe even polite boredom.
But an empowering meeting? That’s different.
It’s a space where words carry weight.
Where ideas spark like live wires.
Where people don’t just speak—they ignite something in you.
You come in with questions, doubt, maybe even burnout.
You leave with clarity, courage, and momentum.
