Celebrating Women with Breaking the Chains
At Shpresa Programme, we believe in the power of unity, inclusivity, and empowerment. That’s why we were thrilled to host our recent event, Empower Her: Inspiring Inclusivity & Change. It was an unforgettable celebration dedicated to honoring the achievements and resilience of women from all walks of life.
The event brought together a diverse array of individuals, all united by a common goal: to inspire and empower one another towards a more inclusive and equitable world. From networking sessions to powerful presentations, dynamic performances to interactive stalls featuring local women-led businesses and NGOs, the energy and enthusiasm were palpable throughout the evening.
We were particularly honored to celebrate International Women’s Day with a community that champions inclusivity and change. The event provided a platform for meaningful conversations, connections, and celebrations of women’s empowerment.
One of the highlights of the evening was witnessing the electrifying performances by talented individuals celebrating the spirit and diversity of women. From powerful spoken word to mesmerizing dance acts, each performance left a lasting impression, reminding us of the strength and resilience of women everywhere.
We also had the privilege of hearing from trailblazing women who are breaking barriers and shaping the future. Esme, our dedicated mentor, stood out with her unwavering commitment to the young people at Shpresa Programme, serving as a beacon of support and guidance. Flutra, another inspirational figure, embodies strength and resilience, uplifting those around her with her passion and determination.
As we reflect on Empower Her and the incredible impact it had, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who contributed to its success. From our dedicated volunteers to our generous sponsors, from our inspiring speakers to our enthusiastic attendees, each person played a vital role in making the event a memorable and impactful celebration of women's achievements.
Lauren and the other women of Shpresa Programme, along with our partners from MiCLU, work tirelessly on the Breaking the Chains project, advocating for young people and their immigration cases. Together, they provide invaluable support and resources to those in need, ensuring that no one is left behind.
We must also acknowledge the incredible contributions of the moms who cook for us at the Youth Clubs, nurturing our bodies and spirits with their delicious meals. And of course, our CEO Luljeta Nuzi, whose leadership and vision drive Shpresa Programme forward each day.
